Who We Need: Harder+Company seeks a freelance graphic and data visualization designer who can support our consulting teams to produce a range of client deliverables like briefs, reports, infographics, and presentations. The design freelancer supports these teams using branded templates by generating clean data visualizations and ensuring that layout and design are consistent with our company branding.
Roles and Responsibilities:
Data-Savvy Designer – Value layout and design that clearly communicates quantitative and qualitative data to clients and stakeholders. Have an eye for detail and attention to data integrity in designing charts and visualizations.
Visual Communicator – Creative thinker who can use icons and diagrams to illustrate concepts and relationships between individuals, programs, organizations and systems.
Collaborator – Ability to work with diverse team members to hear their perspectives and needs. Skilled at introducing your own ideas and able to recognize when your partner has the final decision.
Creative Brand Advocate – Able to balance constraints of branding guidelines with individual project needs.

This is a freelance position with a variable schedule – approximately 10-15 hours per week. Graphic designer will be paid an hourly rate based on experience. This position does not include benefits.
Harder+Company has four California offices: San Francisco, Sacramento, Los Angeles and San Diego. Occasional office visits can help build rapport with our teams, but are not required.
